Carolyn Holtgrewe was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan USA. Her growing-up years were largely shaped by the culture and world events of the 1940's and 1950's. She earned an Associate in Arts degree from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and a BA in Education from the University of Michigan. She also spent a year abroad studying in the country of Denmark under the auspices of the American-Scandinavian Seminars.

After her college years, she moved to Denver, Colorado where she lived for over 30 years and was involved with teaching, marriage, family and community service. When the New Age blossomed onto the scene in the 1960's, she began exploring the many offerings made available through books, seminars, workshops and personal experiencing. It was here that she began to pursue her lifelong interest in metaphysics and spiritual matters, earning through Mile High Church in Denver an Associate in Religious Science degree from the Religious Science Institute headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

She now makes her home on the shores of Lake Michigan pursuing the path of spiritual mastery through service, channeling, teaching and writing. Carolyn has been involved in the field of metaphysics for over 40 years. Responding to a request from the Spiritual Hierarchy, she founded The Galactic Foundation Academy of Light in 1996. Her writings have been published in the Sedona Journal of Emergence and also in Germany, England, Australia and New Zealand and are widely distributed internationally on the Internet. Her offerings include the 22-strand DNA activation, teaching, spiritual counseling, guided meditations and special programs effecting cellular transformation on the path of Ascension. In addition to the above, she is a Qabbalist, poet, visionary and mystic.
The 22-Strand DNA Activation ~ A Sacred Gift is her first book. Another book, Gifts of Love: The Indigo Children, is currently being written.
